This short film, joint funded by CLAHRC SY and produced in collaboration with Optical Jukebox, explores the life stories of a group of older Yemeni men who arrived in Sheffield during the 1950s and 60s to work in the steel industry.

The film describes the challenges faced by the men and the impact that this has had on their health, relationships and wellbeing. The film helps us to understand the significant role played by this group of men and their legacy for the Yemeni community and the City of Sheffield.
